Pitingo releases an anthology with a CD of ‘Rarities’ and a DVD with a previously unpublished concert. The cantaor, author of the encounter between flamenco and soul, now takes stock of his discography with an anthological digipack entitled ‘Todo Pitingo’. It includes three CDs. His two studio albums are there, ‘Pitingo con Habichuelas’ and ‘Soulería’, which managed to sell 120,000 copies.

And what is already known is complemented with the new disc ‘Rarezas’ (‘Rarities’), with every duo he has done throughout his career, side by side with artists such as Beatriz Luengo, Haze, Daniel Casares and Los Chichos, among others. And a DVD is added to the music with the concert he offered at the 2009 San Sebastián Jazz Festival, bringing together a gospel choir and a flamenco group led by guitarist Juan Carmona on the same stage.

 The personal versions of ‘New York’, ‘Georgia on My Mind’, ‘Yesterday’ and ‘What a Wonderful World’ were mixed that night with styles as flamenco as the fiesta por bulerías.
